Kelvin Lim

I work primarily with oil paint. I am moved by organic forms and raw human emotion.
 I have a soft spot for the lonely and marginalised, and for some reason attracted to the dark.

Through painting, I explore ways to express mood and opinion with basic tones. I find detailed surface rendering kills underlying emotion, like kissing a loved one with eyes open.
