Ivana Gagic Kicinbaci is a contemporary artist working within the field of emotional abstraction, where movement, restraint, and layered forms become a visual language for inner experience.

Her practice is rooted in an intuitive exploration of the relationship between soul and body, the spiritual and the material, space and time, and the search for inner freedom within the contemporary condition.

She holds a PhD in Art, and her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally, including across Europe, the United States, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, South America, and beyond. This strong academic and curatorial foundation informs a practice that is both conceptually rigorous and emotionally accessible.

Her recent recognitions include the El Greco – Premio de las Bellas Artes 2025, First Prize in Landscapes for the William Turner Award, and multiple international awards from New York to Venice, Milan, Cologne, and Lyon. She was selected for the Art Investment &...
