Ivana Gagic Kicinbaci

Ivana Gagić Kičinbači is a contemporary artist whose work unfolds through restrained abstraction, where movement, stillness, and layered form articulate an inner landscape.

Her deliberately reduced compositions invite quiet attention rather than spectacle, allowing meaning and intensity to emerge gradually through an intuitive exploration of presence, liminality, and the relationship between the spiritual and the material.

Grounded in a strong academic foundation while remaining deeply intuitive, perceptual, and experiential, her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, the United States, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and South America.

Ivana Gagić Kičinbači holds a PhD in Art and an MFA in Graphic Arts, complemented by postgraduate studies in Painting.

Alongside her artistic practice, she researches drawing, spirituality, and transcendence in visual art. Her scholarly work includes publications in the peer-reviewed journal Religions, including The Quest for Inner Freedom: An Artist’s Perspective (2025) and Attempts to Communicate the Transcendent in Contemporary Art: An Artist’s Point of View (2023).
