Kipling Hunt is best described as a multi-disciplinary fine artist. Colour, concept, craft and collaboration have all been key components in her work so far.
Born in London, Hunt has also lived in Barcelona, Birmingham and in semi-rural isolation on the borders of Wales. Kipling makes fine art pieces in ceramic, in paint, in print, in film, or in fact any medium most able to deliver each concept in question with assurance and panache.
Hunt has been involved in close collaboration with other artists, experts and the general public- in solo, group and site-specific projects.
Kipling has also worked for over a decade in the Secondary Art Market, as a General Specialist in Fine Art Paintings, Prints and Sculpture. This gave Hunt great insight and a comprehensive knowledge of artists both practicing and those now deceased; and a working blueprint of what goes on behind the scenes to oil the wheels of the global art market.
Hunt graduated with a BA in Fine Art (Sculpture) from Chelsea College of Arts in 2006; and spent a year in 2018 under the tutelage of Bob and Roberta Smith RA OBE and Johanna Melvin at the Essential School of Painting.
