Katie Trinkle Legge was born in New York in 1965. She graduated from The University of the Arts Philadelphia in 1988. Her works are are a unique combination of contemporary and classical painting styles. The lush palette and scale of her images bring common objects to a new plane.
Currently her studio is located on Waiheke Island in New Zealand. She also travels back to the east coast of the United States to work in her studio located near her sister's gallery in New Paltz, NY.
