Kathleen Lerona is a London-based abstract artist working in black and white. Her work focuses on texture, form, and surface through minimalist abstraction.
She works with mixed media, including modroc, fabric, and everyday materials, building up layered compositions on canvas. Removing colour allows the work to remain direct, physical, and focused on material and process.
Her practice is shaped by experimentation and long-term making, resulting in a distinct and personal visual language.
