Yuliia Kondrat

I am a painter from Ukraine. I have always been painting, and when I was 14 years old I was admitted to college to a designer-artist program in the city of Ternopil, Western Ukraine. I’ve been trying to find myself in various creative fields. I designed logos, I took photos, I created and sewed toys, I made interior decor, I worked in the office, I worked hard in a cloth factory, I sculpted, I drew illustrations, I made jewelry, I wrote poems and books. During that time, I gained a lot of different experience, and I realized that finally I am an artist, a painter. And in this difficult time I want to create, and I want to pass on to others my experience, my emotions, my world, my thoughts, my inside energy. All the knowledge from all those different fields can be combined and a new creation can be made.
For right now, I paint with acrylics and oils.However, I want to combine different textures, styles and techniques in the future. Such as using threads, clay, glass and various plastic paints. In my artwork I use a lot of symbols, signs, hyperlinks to world’s events, my thoughts, my poems, or songs and poems that inspire me.
