Krystyna Szczepanowski

Krystyna Szczepanowski is a figurative painter whose practice is centered on the fluid and unpredictable nature of watercolors. Based in Switzerland, she explores the delicate balance between technical anticipation and the "happy accidents" inherent to the medium. Her work frequently highlights the granulation of pigments and the natural flow of water on paper, techniques she uses to replicate reality while embracing a limited sense of control.

In her still life compositions, Krystyna focuses on the beauty of ordinary objects by isolating them from their usual settings.
