My paintings are abstract because life has more than enough realism for me.I lose myself when I paint, I don't think about the problems of the world or of my own problems. It's just colour and sheen, texture and line, shapes and imagination and of course music.I've been painting for nearly 30 years now, regardless of where I have lived and I can't imagine my life without.

Mainly self taught. I've had most of my education from painting almost daily for the last 20 years.
I attended a still life course and have of course been informed and helped along my way by some really good online forums.
