Martin Lago

Martín Lago is a visual artist and producer with over 15 years of professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA) and a postgraduate degree in Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture from the Association for the Promotion of Fine Arts (AEBA).Currently, he leads the 'Vida y Monte' initiative, and his work is deeply influenced by a three-year immersion in the Argentine Gran Chaco, where he collaborates with indigenous communities. Through this experience, he was moved by the paradox of extreme material scarcity alongside an immense capacity for resilience. This journey gave new meaning to his technical background: his current work seeks to rescue the inner light that persists in people regardless of the context in which they live. He represents the human figure as an emitter of energy—as a surface of internal radiance and resilient spirit.
