My practice explores the tension between surface and depth. I am interested in forms that seem to emerge from beneath a luminous exterior — shapes that are sensed before they are fully defined.
Working primarily with layered acrylic and structural paste, I build textured surfaces where light interacts with density. What may initially appear calm or atmospheric often contains a quieter inner tension. I see beauty not as decoration, but as a surface condition that conceals more complex, sometimes unsettling undercurrents.
The series Passages reflects states of transition — suspension, unfolding, drift, movement. These works do not depict literal subjects; instead, they suggest archetypal processes of becoming. Each painting invites the viewer to slow down and engage with what operates below immediate perception.
I approach painting as an exploration of inner architecture — a space where transformation occurs gradually, often invisibly, before taking form.
