Miljana Langovic

Miljana Langović is a Serbian artist whose practice explores the relationship between the body, emotion, and inner psychological states. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, she develops figurative compositions that oscillate between presence and dissolution, where the human form becomes a vessel for transformation.

Her work is rooted in personal introspection, often addressing themes of identity, vulnerability, and emotional metamorphosis. Through layered textures and contrasting color palettes, she constructs visual spaces that evoke tension between control and release, the visible and the subconscious.

Drawing from symbolic imagery and archetypal narratives, the paintings suggest a process of inner becoming, a passage through fragmentation toward wholeness. The figure is not fixed, but evolving, reflecting the fluid and often contradictory nature of the self.
