Lara Loss

Lara Loss is an artist working in expressive pop art and realism. Born into a creative family, with a father who was an artist and a mother who was a fashion designer, Lara absorbed a love for art from an early age.

After graduating with honors from an art school and the Stieglitz Academy's Art Lyceum, she received an architectural education at SPbGASU, becoming the top graduate of her faculty.

Over 18 years as an architect-designer, Lara has realized more than 200 projects in Russia and Portugal.

Currently, she combines her architectural career with painting, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, and horses — symbols of strength, grace, and harmony.

Lara seeks to infuse her work with deep emotions, inspiring the viewer to see the world through her eyes. The tranquility and warmth of sunlight playing on a lamb’s fur, or the sense of hope that the light of a lighthouse brings against the backdrop of a sunset, are reflected in her paintings.

Through her works, Lara conveys values of inner strength, self-belief, and the aspiration for the best. Her art encourages contemplation of one’s own power and the possibilities within each person.
