Lars Schumacher is a german photographer, experimental video- and short film director. He is the creative director behind the visual output of OKOK Television and several contemporary [media] art projects.

Schumacher started his career as a short film director during the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, made with his 3 years younger brother Leif Schumacher the (Speed-) Trilogie (Speed, Spinning Head and Route 66). Films were screening at film-festivals and television stations in europe, america and asia. Schumacher startet his work in the media "Television" in lower saxony, Germany in 1996. The work as a photographer starts parallel to the filmmaking.
