Laura Anne Middlemiss

Laura has a wildly vivid imagination; all her drawing and painting are created from the images in her mind.

Listening to contemporary classical composers such as Max Richter, Philip Glass & Luke Howard, unlocks a kaleidoscope of images in her head, which are then channelled into her art.

Laura's inspiration comes from observing human behaviour, a love of animals and nature mixed with her interest in mythology and the past.
Symbolism is hidden in the drawings which invite the viewer to explore the details and uncover their meaning.

Laura lives in the highlands of Scotland, surrounded by forests, mountains, amazing sunsets and colour filled autumns.
She loves her dog Oscar who looks like a fox.
