Laura Beatrice Gerlini

I am a contemporary Italian artist with an artistic education developed in Italy and abroad. Art plays a central role in my life. I regularly visit exhibitions, galleries, and museums as part of an ongoing process of research and growth.
Painting is my main way to explore emotions and translate them into atmosphere, color, and form. My works often feature soft tones, blurred spaces, and a sense of suspended time.
I work instinctively, guided by emotional states. I believe figurative and informal art can coexist and enrich each other. Nature is a main source of inspiration. While painting, I compose and decompose elements as if working on a mosaic, letting details and contrasts emerge naturally.
Portraits have a special place in my practice. I aim to understand the inner world of the subject, capturing presence, character, and emotional depth.
Through my paintings, I aim to create a meaningful connection with the viewer, offering original artworks created with care and consistency.
