EXHIBITIONS
Laura Pedizzi started studying painting in 2007 with art academy teacher Luciano Pea. The combination of her degree in marketing and several workshops with editorial illustrators, has led her to study deeper communication in figurative art.
The subjects are young women, between portrait and self-portrait even if they lose their biographical connotation to become anonymous, some impersonal and iconic that rise from photo shoots or from sketches of hinted gestures. Her main purpose is an introspective research in order to begin an empathic dialogue with the viewer. Her paintings are all based on evocative images closer to the memory of a dream than to something that is really happening in front of the person.
