Ofir Lavie

Born in Jerusalem, Lavie's international career as an artist include the kibbutz dance company and the Deutsche Oper Berlin. later on, he became a choreographer for the new Israeli Opera House. Lavie had another passion in his artistic vision -Painting, He searches for hidden worlds in the color contrast, expressed in movement and harmony in many small details creating a unique cosmos of his own. His painting was displayed in galleries in Germany and in Israel. Lavie's inspirations for his artistic creations comes from his passion for nature, motion and textures.


I paint with a brush through thousands of repetitive details and I discover hidden worlds in the contrast of the colors and materials.
