Lavinia Falcan

In my career, I had the opportunity so far to exhibit in the great capitals of the world such as New York, Monaco, Paris, and Brussels, as well as participated in prestigious exhibitions and mural art festivals in Romania and the UK.

My wish is to bring a new approach to the art of painting, focusing on image and space composition and a freshness full of sonority, giving beauty a state of equilibrium by using a healthy chromatic palette and well-chosen elements.

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1988 and found my calling for painting from an early age, started participating in international painting competitions at the age of 12, consistently obtaining first places. After studying, training, working, I graduate with a bachelor and master and degree in painting in 2006 at the University of Arts in Bucharest.

Most of my time I love painting on canvas, I prefer large canvases that match the height of the viewers; mural paintings, on large surfaces and enjoy every time creating murals on a variety of materials; sometimes illustrations for books and magazines; and in the last years I started also performing live art painting shows.
