I am Lazya, a self-taught multidisciplinary artist drawing inspiration from Persian art, Tanjore traditions, and Indian classical aesthetics. My practice spans across various mediums, including relief art, miniature painting, portraiture, crochet, and fashion design. I work with textures, intricate details, and layered techniques to create pieces that reflect both tradition and personal expression.
For me, art is not just the final outcome—it is the process. Every stroke, every thread, every detail holds time, patience, and emotion. Much of this effort often goes unseen, and that is where my work truly exists. I don’t create merely to be viewed; I create to be felt. I want people to pause, to look beyond the surface, and to understand the emotions and dedication embedded within each piece—rather than reducing it to a price or a label.
My journey as an artist is driven by a constant need to create, to solve, and to evolve. I aspire not only to grow and thrive as an artist but also to remind the world of the importance of art—its ability to hold meaning, preserve tradition, and connect deeply with human experience.
