Lee-Ann Rodwell

Lee-Ann is an old soul, a lover and collector of aged treasures that carry the energy of worlds departed. If she could slip through the veil she would be found in Rembrandt’s studio, or Toulouse Lautrec’s Moulin Rouge, or peering over the shoulder of the crazed painter Antonio Mancini. These masters have inspired and driven Lee-Ann to create works that reinterpret their techniques through her own creativity and contemporary eyes.



Lee-Ann is driven by deep rooted inner inspirations, resulting in unique works of a prometheus nature. Many of the paintings feature intentional imperfections, awkwardness and subtle symbolism

In 2020, Lee-Ann started a range of 12 close to life sized oil paintings which became the “Beyond the Veil” collection. Each painting in the series communicates to the unique inner power and sexuality of women, revealing the innate strength of character that has borne them through the trials and tribulations of the discriminatory centuries past.

Lee-Ann has been fascinated with the creative process from a very young age, and has gone on to study at The Florence Academy and under many internationally esteemed artists, including David Kassan, Max Ginsberg, Robert Liberace, Hollis Dunlap, Sean Cheetham and Tim Benson in countries as disparate as France, Spain and Portugal.
