Lee Woodman

I am based in New Zealand, and co-direct a small gallery project space called 18a.

I am trade qualified in Joinery and Carpentry and hold a degree in Design Innovation and Philosophy from Victoria University Wellington. During my study I started my art practice and for that I am largely self taught.
I am self employed and contract art handling and installation services to art institutions, museums, private collectors and established artists. I design and build sculpture, public furniture and site specific installations.

I have exhibited regularly since 2011, mostly in Nelson including a Solo installation in the Suter Art Gallery's Contemplation Gallery. The Suter is a local art institution with a collection and history starting late 1800s.
