My latest creations represent an interpretation of life with what I call a "VIVID' perspective. They are not necessarily defined as pop, contemporary, abstract, nor expressionism.
My latest works are a reflection of contemporary life created with the human hand and heart.
My goal is to interpret our environment through a fragmented perspective. To be able to notice the small details, shapes and colors that draw your attention to the whole. Through the vivid and bold design, we can appreciate our surroundings with a fresh perspective.
Over the years, many people have had a difficult time defining my work into one definable style. My work is diverse in subject matter, medium and sometimes unorthodox in the traditional sense of the 'how' it was created. Often called a colorist, I have evolved as an artist and now I am excited to create and offer what I call VIVIDS.
The style has unique simplicities of combined shapes and colors. Similar to creating a mosaic of crisp, clean color, that expresses contrast and balance using every day common place objects and scenery that pop into a VIVID reality.
