I am deeply in love with the process of making a painting. From deciding what to create to the preliminary sketches and to the day the completed piece leaves my studio in route a new home, every step of the process is engaging. I aim to leave traces of this process in all of my work. Upon inspection, you will find cues to the steps I've taken to work out each design, composition and workings with the medium. Pieces of my original sketch and layers of under paintings are not hidden, but put on display in order to demonstrate an unreproducible uniqueness that sits beyond what each painting portrays and points to the core of how it was created. I invite you to share in my passion and to enjoy the process of making art with me.
