Letizia Bertaggia

I am Letizia Bertaggia and I am an Italian-Dominican painter who uses colors and brushes to narrate the drama of mental illnesses, in particular bipolarism and borderline personality disorder. I narrate its symptoms without sugarcoating the pill. I also try to give voice to minorities as an anti-speciesist transfeminist. Have a good trip.

I studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan

I've created two exhibitions so far, the first, "In Eternal Pain," which explored Dante's Inferno as a metaphor for mental illness. The second, "To Die," deals with the delicate topic of suicide.
