Liana Gvianidze

I’m Liana, a human, a woman, perhaps still a little girl at heart, and a creative by nature. I live in Batumi, Georgia.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, taking different forms at different stages. I studied choral conducting and spent ten years singing professionally before moving into balloon art and design, creating large-scale installations, working internationally and teaching creative seminars.
Today, photography is the medium I use to look at and share the world as I see it. It allows me to capture beauty, atmosphere, details and ordinary things in my own way: from interiors and food to nature, people and fleeting moments.
I don’t see photography as a definition of who I am. It is simply the creative language that speaks to me at this stage of my life. For me, art has never been about one particular medium. It is about curiosity, seeing things differently, and finding a way to share that vision with others.
