I'm a self-taught illustrator born in Brazil who has lived in Berlin since 2011. I worked as electric engineer, had a doctorate in design management and published books about leadership, design and innovation. Nowadays I'm partner of the project wesen.berlin.
I use the photos of the Berlin wall splinters as background for my drawings. I make cuts and digital collages contrasting the brutality of the concept that the wall transmits, the infinite colors, the feminine power and the delicacy of the animals in my own way.
I hate the Berlin Wall for all it represents in history, for the suffering it inflicted on so many people, for the deaths, for ignorance, for brutality and arrogance. But I love the bits of it, so colorful, so inspiring, so delicate.
Berlin does that to me.
And I think it’s great. Take a look at the result.
