Whether it is the abandoned shopping carts left on the sidewalks, elusive female forms, or abandoned and deserted cars, these objects are part of our disposable culture. I call these motifs fossils. I am a mixed/new media and installation artist from Los Angeles, CA. I incorporate sound and light into all my exhibitions to create an entire environmental experience.
"My landscapes are the personification of these motifs. I combine these motifs with the silhouettes of abandoned cars, school buses and freeways. I create the artwork using digital as well as traditional painting media such as painting programs in the computer, oil and acrylic paint, photography as well as news and magazine articles depicting a narrative, visual time capsule."
