EXHIBITIONS

Hello! I am so glad you found me. I am an artist and nature lover working out of Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal, Quebec. My practice includes drawing & painting, murals, and visual art mentoring and education, all with a preoccupation for colour, light, texture, and narrative.
I blend atmospheric landscapes, wildlife and portraiture painting while incorporating abstract elements. I fuse conflicting styles and the use of subjective colour alongside realistic details and textures. Along with paint and other materials, I incorporate women’s traditional craft media such as embroidery and appliqué in non-traditional ways.
INSPIRATION
My awareness that our ecosystems are fragile, impermanent, and in danger is the driving force behind this project. I want to show that Canadian landscapes are rich and full of life to cherish and not just resources to plunder. Nature is my main source of motivation, but I am also inspired by the beauty and strength of the animals that struggle to survive and thrive.
GOALS
