I am a contemporary textile artist creating handwoven work at the intersection of fine art, craft, and visual language. My practice is rooted in traditional weaving on a floor loom, using hand-dyed yarn, painted warps, and complex weave structures to build works that are both tactile and conceptual.
Using handwoven textiles as a canvas, I add mixed media elements to explore sacred geometry, encoded text, and layered pattern systems as a way of embedding meaning directly into structure. Each piece is built slowly by hand, combining precision, rhythm, and improvisation to create compositions that unfold through color, texture, and form.
My work is driven by a fascination with pattern as language and cloth as a site for memory, symbolism, and transformation. Through weaving, I investigate how material can hold both visual complexity and quiet resonance, creating pieces that invite sustained looking and contemplation.
