Life long photographer reflecting my inherent interest in Formalism. The first photograph I remember making was of a Greek temple in Paestum. I have been following that lead in capturing the intersection of the man-made and nature, with an emphasis on life, direction, balance, and tone. Sometimes I've incorporated alternative techniques such as paper negatives, photos in 3-D form, painted, cut-up and re-formed images. Recently, using a hybrid device, a small camera obscura with a digital camera, I have discovered a form that lends a mysterious quality to the images, a counter-balance to the hyper detail/focus in contemporary photography.
