Born in 1972 and raised in the small country town of Melbourne, Derbyshire. After having lived in Leicestershire, Nottingham and Yorkshire, I have now returned to the place where I grew up to dedicate myself to painting, having collected one husband, two children and a cat along the way.
"My abstract painting style is influenced by a backgound in ceramics and sculpture. I seek to capture fluidity and movementon on a flat surface, taking inspiration from nature and the natural world; striving to combine peaceful relaxation with a joyful exuberance."
Studied art, sculpture and photography at Nottingham Trent University. Selling artwork consistently through galleries, exhibitions and website since 2003. ,
