Fashion is apart of all of us,it comes into our lives,surrounding us whether we choose to be interested or not.Fashion can calso be explored in a way to define a persons attributes.
In my latest work i am looking at 80's fashion but using fashion female icons known for their success within this timeline to illustrate this.
My art practise looks at exploring fashion in so many ways,being creative and using unusual poses.I do this by using models that have an extreme,vibrant look about them that divides them from anyone else,giving them individuality.
My inspiration comes from a variety of sources that include photography magazines such as British Journal Of Photography,Black & White Photography & Image.The way in which i get ideas for my fashion are I.D,Dazed & Confused & Vogue.
Photographers work that has inspired my work practise are Mario Testino,Nick Knight,David Lachapelle & Corrine Day.
Fashion has always been a big passion of mine and being able to use photography as medium to portray this allows me to produce images that are particular interesting and original.
