Lluis Garriga is a Spanish visual artist whose work explores matter, gesture, and inner landscapes through abstraction and mixed techniques.
His practice is rooted in a physical and intuitive process, where texture, rhythm, and tension emerge as central elements. Influenced by abstract expressionism and material-driven painting, his works are conceived as autonomous presences rather than representations.
Garriga has exhibited in Spain and Canada, and his work is held in private collections.
He began his studies of the plastic arts at an early age, studied drawing with coal and painting with different masters both private and in academies of Barcelona, won several prizes both drawing and painting.
He exhibited very young in El Masnou, Mataró and Barcelona.
