“Let me remind the reader that I am only an experimenter.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson, Circles (1841)
I work through experimentation—following intuition, allowing chance to intervene, and staying open to what cannot be planned. Each piece may begin as an accident or a question, but it becomes a record of lived moments: sensations, fragments of memory, and small mysteries that insist on taking form. What matters most in my practice is persistence—the quiet decision to return, to repeat, to refine—until something settles and holds. Humility is part of this process: accepting that the work often reveals itself slowly, beyond my first intentions. I trust uncertainty as a collaborator, with the hope that what emerges through chance can create a shift—subtle but real—in the way we see, feel, and remember.
