Louisa Staneva

Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Living in Czech Republic since 1990.
Using different techniques and materials. Concentrating on drawing, painting, art graphics, illustration and others. Being particular about the aesthetic look and arrangement of my artworks. Like spirituality, fairy tales and transcendency and these themes can often be found in the paintings. In the creative process searching for a moments of wonder and inner harmony with the work and that is also sometimes a reason for the completion being slower. Believe the paintings are bringing impulses for reflecting and meditation.
Currently teaching visual arts and philosophy at the Bulgarian School in Prague.
Since 1993 teaching theory, history and practice of art at the Sommerakademie Bohemia for Austrian and other artists.

1981-1985 - studied at the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University of Cyril and Methodeus, V. Tarnovo - master major in Visual Arts, second major in Aesthetics. Atelier of Graphics, prof. Motko Bumov.
