Louis Atelouis is a Swiss artist who has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the United States, and France. His artworks primarily reflect current world affairs with ironically cynical titles. He works with various techniques: oil, oil glazes, and mixed media on canvas.
His unique crumpling technique gives the paintings their distinctive identity.
Another focus of Louis Atelouis’ work is large-format pencil drawings in graphite and Polychromos on paper, based on intuitive sketches with hints of cubist elements.
