Louise Aldridge

My work explores the profound relationship between nature, motherhood, and wellbeing. Since becoming a mother, I have experienced the restorative power of the natural world in an entirely new way—specifically its ability to regulate our bodies, quiet our minds, and reconnect us to ourselves.

These works were created over an extended period, with approximately 80% of the painting process taking place outdoors. This collection embraces a slower, more intentional rhythm, with each layer responding to the passing seasons
