Louise Michele Bird

I have worked as a portrait artist for most of my career, I am now combining portrait commissions with creating my own collection of paintings.
I have always been fascinated by people and the human form. Most recently I have been using myself as subject matter. Studying different parts of my anatomy and using them to express my own emotions. I trained as an illustrator gaining my degree and after a decade working in publishing and advertising soon realised that portraiture was a better fit for me and my new family.
