I am a contemporary abstract collagist, working and living in Montreal.
My compositions seek to bring out the forms, textures and colours of the paper, and to create a coherent whole, as well as a mood and feel.
I am an admirer of the works of Jean Arp, the forms and paintings of Victor Pasmore, and the colours used by Rex Ray and Timothy Harney. However, my greatest inspiration has come from the works of Bertrand Dorny.
I use artisanal handmade paper, Japanese paper, reclaimed paper, acrylic and graphite, among others to complete my work.
DEC Arts plastiques, CEGEP Marie-Victorin.
Various workshops at Visual Arts Centre, Montreal.
Workshop with Pierre Jean Varet from Artcolle Museum,
France.
