Louise O’Gorman is a photographic artist from Ireland. She started her career working as a PR and portrait photographer. She has photographed many familiar faces, from Prime Ministers in Downing street to those living in some of the poorest communities for International NGO’s.
She now focuses her attention on personal projects creating images using long exposures, reflections, shadows and some digital darkroom techniques. Often putting herself in the frame, her self portraits tell stories of a person, a place or an emotion. Many of her self portrait images are used on Book covers.
Her documentary work has been exhibited internationally, with her more personal work being been sold to private collectors worldwide.
