my art looks weird and “ugly” on purpose, it’s to go against the art canon and the art industry’s standard of “good art” which only takes into account white european man art and their style as good, acceptable art. Different cultures and different groups of people do things in different ways and my art is meant to breakdown and challenge ethnocentrism in the art industry.
