My work is the result of a long process of purification from the most severe academism that over the years was transformed into the search for new forms of expression, perhaps always thinking of a plastic language where simplification prevails and according to reality that i have had to live. Contemporary life in general terms is the main element of inspiration that we count on artists and our concern is to manifest with the means at our disposal the impressions we capture by our rapid passage through this world. For a professional in the art, the task is complicated and nothing is easy: 70 years in the plastic arts have taught me, it is one thing to apply colors on one surface right and left and another is to use the same Colors on the same surface, but with method and knowledge, which involves many years of study and dedication.
Concretely I have reached a stage where simplification is accompanied by a load of emotional expressiveness according to what our five senses daily grasp the present humanity that every day that passes gives signs of loss of equanimity so we suffer a psychosis that to great step is driving us to total madness; But what I am sure of is that all my work is a self-portrait because it is my other self.
