Visual Artist, Photographer, Author and Alchemist
Luis Veiga is a Brazilian visual artist, award-winning photographer, filmmaker and writer. He lives and works in São Paulo.
His work has been featured in international publications and media, including The New York Times, National Geographic, Geo, Time and Newsweek. His photography has been exhibited in group shows internationally, including New York, Paris, Tokyo and London. His photographs can be found in public and private collections, including the Musée Français de la Photographie.
As an author and an alchemist of timeless narratives, he explores the intersection of history, memory, and the human condition. His literary work includes the chronicles "O Caminho das Missões: Memórias, Fatos e Lendas" (2025) and "La Puerta del Infierno: Arqueología de la Conciencia" (2026). Across multiple mediums - from sensory concepts to visual arts - his practice acts as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, capturing the enduring essence of cultural myths.
Currently, his portfolio features iconic imagery documenting the Fall of the Berlin Wall (1989) - a powerful visual record of the 20th century's most significant geopolitical shift.
