Luke Hayes

While I have had a creative drive for as long as I can remember, I truthfully did not discover my passion for painting until 2 and half years ago. Since that point I have taught myself everything that I know, which I hope lends my work a truly unique style. I, like every painter, will acknowledge I have an infinite amount more to learn but I do believe with time and my ambition I will go on to create and achieve so much more. However, to do this I require the support of anyone passionate about contemporary art, who wants to push it to greater heights and ensure portraiture and figurative art is never forgotten. I paint in a way reminiscent of work of the past, but am heavily influenced by the modern world we live in. I also believe no work should ever be forced, inspiration should be organic. Every painting I create has a reason and purpose behind it.
