Tao Bai

I’m an artist who has been painting since 1998 upon graduating from The School of Fine Arts at Nanjing Normal University. I specialize in nature and landscape paintings, and have been working primarily with oils in recent years. I have always had great admiration for 19th-century Impressionism and have carefully studied the works of Monet, Gauguin, and Van Gogh. Drawing inspiration from these masters, I have refined his own perception and techniques to capture the complex nature of light and colour in his works. Now I paint most days, I like to paint naturally and loosely. Painting is the best way for me to reconnect my inner soul with Nature. It brings out the curiosity in me and gives me the urge in finding meaning from Nature’s natural beauty. It brings me pleasures and surprises and lets me forget the time and the space… My inspiration is the search for love, beauty, harmony, and aesthetics in the surrounding world. My style is impressionistic, Impressionism and post-impressionism have a profound influence on me. I sell paintings all over the world. I sent them to the USA, Canada. I live in Nanjing China.
