Lu Mazen

I am a photographer and artist and live in Munich. My art includes themes such as identity, memory and the localization of the everyday. I work with photography, mixed media and video. My focus is on still life, the expression of emotion and the representation of places and landscapes under human impact.
I studied internationally at renowned universities in Germany, Great Britain and Canada (MPhil). International travels and master classes in photography at SVA and ICP in NYC.
My project on the transformation of rural regions was shown at Format festival 2024 and has been shortlisted for the Belfast, Athens and Trieste photo festivals. Contributions to photo books and magazines such as f-stop, Spotlight and 9 Lives Magazine. My work can be found in private and public collections. Member of Gedok Germany and Teleportal Group, USA
