My work explores the intersection of beauty and decay, capturing moments in time where nature and life intersect in subtle, powerful ways. I am fascinated by the transformation of things—whether it’s the fading of a once-vibrant flower or the quiet surrender of a landscape to time. Through my paintings, I aim to evoke an emotional response by revealing beauty in unexpected places: the slow decay of femininity in the face of aging, the reclaiming of manmade spaces by nature, and the delicate balance of life and death in rotting fruit. I believe in the power of art to make people pause, reflect, and see the world differently.
I create art not just to capture a visual likeness, but to tell a story about the world we often overlook—the moments of transformation that we tend to ignore. My work invites viewers to reflect on the passage of time, the beauty in life’s impermanence, and the hidden narratives that exist in the everyday. I believe that beauty can be found in the most unlikely places, and I aim to highlight these “forgotten” moments, allowing them to speak for themselves through texture, light, and color.
