Lyp Artist

Grown up in Montreal, I immersed myself in arts and the different cultures that house this city. Rich in everything it has to offer, Montreal has been a real treasure for me to enrich my imagination. It's at Cégep du Vieux Montréal that I started my studies in Arts and Letters. On the other hand, the lack of interest for all the other non-arts-related shorts exasperates me quickly. Over the years, I have been expressin myself in different ways, through dance, writing, drawing and crafts of all kinds. I took stained glass lessons, but I did not immediately fall in love with it. My children became teenagers, I went back to school and came back two years later with a computer graphics diploma in my 40's pocket.
I explored different techniques and mediums in my free time, including watercolor, but I felt quickly limited. A few years later, I made a faux stained glass workshop and I feel that I am on the right track. I discovered the stained glass on canvas and it is love at first sight! I was imagining all the possibilities that this medium could offer me and I was wishing to explore it more. I developed my technique and fine-tuned it since that time.
