Mathilde Grant

I am a digital artist working, under the name M3th1ld3, with photography and digital image-making to explore cycles of time, transformation, and the symbolic patterns that connect the natural world with human experience. My work begins with close observation of daily life and nature and transforms ordinary moments into contemplative images that invite viewers to look more slowly and notice what is usually overlooked.

Drawing on art history, mythology, and astrology, I create works that bridge the digital and the organic, suggesting that nature is not simply something we observe but something we read. Whether photographing a flower before it blooms or tracing the rhythms of the moon, I am interested in how images can preserve moments of emergence and reveal the hidden structures that shape change.

I studied Art History at the University of St Andrews and Postwar & Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. Today I continue to build a multidisciplinary practice that spans photography, digital art, and limited-edition archival prints.
