RECOGNITION
As an artist, I work hard to develop paintings that speak both to me and to others about emotion and frame of mind that are expressed within my paintings.
Each painting has a story, a moment in time, a fleeting feeling that is original to that work.
It is not enough to have a pretty picture filled with uninspired strokes. I need the observer to feel the sadness or anger or joy that was felt while constructing the main theme, color palatte & title of the work.
